We had our answer the very next day. From navigating the bustling markets to finally tasting it, every step of finding this refreshing dessert was worth it. What started as curiosity turned into discovering something light and refreshing that became a go-to favourite on our menu.

As 2025 wraps up, I asked some of my clients a simple question:
“What communication habits are you leaving behind this year?”
The answers are refreshingly honest. 😅
This post is a collective clean-up list before 2026. Here’s to clearer, calmer, more confident communication next year ✨
This might be the best time to explore new regional Burmese khow suey bowls at @burmaburmaindia . From creamy coconut to spicy downtown style, Chef Ansab Khan is bringing 12 years of his Burmese travels to our bowls. We tried the Oh No Khow Suey, Burma Burma’s signature dish in creamy coconut milk curry infused with lemongrass and tamarind, topped with diced broccoli and zucchini. The restaurant has also introduced new zero-proof cocktails: Pandan Royale, Yangon Sunset, Burma Sour and more. We loved the Yangon Sunset for its flavour and ruby red colour!
📍All Burma Burma restaurants, from December 1, 2025 to January 31, 2026. Here is what we ordered apart from the Khao Suey:
🍽️Pan Fried Dumplings
🍽️ Spicy Tea Lead and Avocado Salad
🍽️ Samosa Soup
🍹Smoked Guava mocktail
🍽️ Stir Fry Tofu, Roselle and Mushroom with Sticky Rice

Starting the day right with the ultimate breakfast 🍲
This steaming bowl of Mohinga is a soul-soothing breakfast that is nutritious and comforting. The national dish of Burma, Mohinga has the perfect blend of bold and aromatic flavours that brings people together.
On our visit #BackToBurma, the team could not wait to dive into the Mohinga at this popular breakfast spot in downtown Yangon. Burma Burma’s Head Chef Ansab indulges in the irresistible bowl of vegetarian Mohinga with the goodness of lemongrass soup and chickpea fritters. The soup, which has simmering since the early hours, is poured over noodles and served piping hot.
Want to try it right away? Visit your nearest Burma Burma restaurant today to savour our delectable Mohinga noodles soup with a lemongrass-infused lentil & banana stem broth, rice vermicelli, and crisps.

Burma Burma took over The Conservatory for two days, offering a taste of their exclusive Burmese menu—reimagined classics inspired by their travels through Myanmar. Chef @chef_ansab and co-founder @ankit_v_gupta came armed with rich stories and heartfelt anecdotes, drawing from Ankit’s deep connection to the region, especially through his mother, who lived there for years.
Their passion for sharing Burmese culture has shaped Burma Burma’s journey for a decade, and it showed in every detail. The 10-course vegetarian menu was a revelation, featuring bold, unexpected flavors that sparked conversations about Myanmar’s culinary heritage. Standouts included the Avocado & Tea Leaf Tartlet—a nod to the cultural significance of tea leaves in Burmese cuisine—and Danbauk Rice, inspired by the fragrant Burmese take on biryani, infused with local spices and tradition.
Happy 10 years, @burmaburmaindia ! ❤️
