More personal brand shoots please 🙏
I know, I know, the phrase ‘personal brand’ is a bit 🤢
But whilst it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, those who have worked on it have thrived. It does so much more than put a face to a name—it helps you stand out, opens doors, creates opportunities, and builds trust along the way. As for me, I just love photographing people; particularly those who love what they do 🙌🏻
Good times today with Pete and Luke at @know.film to wrap up a really fun shoot for @vytalise.co.uk .
Perfect weather in the Peak District this morning for what was the final stage of this 3 part project.
Thanks once again to @keigarhomes and @purplepadelclub for being a huge help on this one. Thanks also to our fantastic models who helped bring this to life 🙌🏻
Not usually one to jump on a trend but this one seemed just right 👌🏻
2016 was a good year. You would think it would’ve been quite scary quitting a full time role but truth be told, I had to do something. I was earning so little in my role as a junior designer and my attention had already shifted to photography and using my creativity elsewhere.
It was definitely a bit of a leap. However, slowly but surely, the work came in. I found my style. I also found out a bit of what did (and didn’t) work in the world of running a business…. Something which I’m still navigating today.
The road since has seen many bumps, twists and turns, so far with a nice upwards trajectory 😅.
Forever thankful to 2016 me for finally getting some balls and making a go of it 🤘🏻

Lots of waving, Max the daschund, alcohol consumption, karaoke, four people in a photo booth, I wave again, Lyd forgets how to smile, awkward headshots, new boards, Callum fights with a mic lead, Max again, Eve lays down, cowboy hats, more waving, Aaron videos and in between some house stuff 🏡
Happy New Year you beautiful people 🖤
