People often ask us: "what was your favourite wedding?"
But for our team, every wedding is special. We therefore chose not to pinpoint memorable ceremonies but to highlight our most memorable moments at every wedding instead.
A common misconception is that the Gassies team only gets to know the couple by the time of the wedding, however most of the time, there are up to 2 years of contact leading up to the special day. By the time the couple walks down the aisle, we have built a really special bond of trust and understanding, and when the time comes for us to say ‘goodbye’ a few tears are shed.
Another one of our favourite moments is when the father of the bride is waiting for that first glimpse of his ‘little girl’. The quiet moments of reflection, the stories shared about their life together and the last-minute tie adjustments that we have had the pleasure of being involved with.
Also, how could we not mention the look on the grooms’ face when he sees the bride walk down the isle – an unforgettable look of absolute contentment and reassurance.
Above all, the most special moments of any wedding at Château Gassies are the love, energy and positivity brought by our wonderful couples and their guests. The moments shared between friends and family, these few days at the Château really enable the time for new and intimate bonds to be created.
No wedding is ever the same as another, and it is truly a pleasure for us to be a part of this incredibly special time with them.

What a truly unforgettable day on Saturday for Lucy & Matt 🤍
The most perfect setting at Chateau Gassies, with copious amounts of joy, laughter, tears, dancing and tennis. While the sun may not have arrived in Bordeaux that day, Lucy and Matt brought so much light, energy and love to the day it did not matter one bit.
When I spoke with Lucy and Matt before their wedding they made it clear that their family and friends were the most important part to them and I loved every second of capturing many moments that will stay with them forever.
I always know an amazing wedding when I hardly sit down and with @merry.mood.band bringing so much energy and wonderful music all day long it was hard to stop dancing!

« oui ». Disposées avec élégance, elles accompagnent les pas des mariés dans un décor naturel et harmonieux, entre lumière, volumes et douceur végétale.
Un ensemble pensé comme une véritable mise en scène, où chaque détail guide vers l’instant le plus précieux de la cérémonie.
All along the garden’s main path, floral arrangements punctuate the walkway leading to the « | do. » Elegantly arranged, they accompany the bride and groom’s steps through a natural and harmonious setting, blending light, volume, and the softness of the foliage.
The entire scene is designed as a carefully crafted setting, where every detail leads up to the most precious moment of the ceremony.
