Things feel frightening right now. I’m scared for my friends, for myself, for everyone who has ever been othered, for survivors of assault, for those facing hate, for my queer family, my trans siblings, and for every marginalised community being targeted simply for existing.
Fear is real, but hope does not disappear in the face of hate. It remains, even in the darkest moments, and we have to protect it.
Now more than ever, we need each other. We need community, solidarity, and courage. We need to stand together and stand proud, because we are louder, stronger, and more powerful than hate will ever be.
We still have music. We still have art. We still have each other. These are not small things. They are how we survive, how we connect, and how we build something better.
We cannot afford to back down, because silence and surrender are what allow fascism to grow. We will not make space for hate. We will keep showing up, keep creating, keep resisting, and keep believing in a future where everyone can live safely, freely, and with dignity.
Hold onto each other. Hold onto hope.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again :
• Don’t support Autism Speaks. They do not represent autistic people and have caused real harm to the community.
• Autism is not a “superpower”. It’s a legitimate condition that deserves understanding, not sugarcoating or romanticising.
• Being autistic does not make someone less valuable or less deserving of respect in society.
• There isn’t a simple “mild” or “severe” version of autism. It’s a spectrum (that looks a little bit like a pie chart), and people have different support needs that can change over time.
•Everyone isn’t “on the spectrum”. Autism isn’t an adjective - you either are autistic or you’re not. Simple as🖤
