six months overdue, but hey here’s my massive THANK YOU to Australia for an absolutely epic 13-year adventure!
Recruited straight out of school I thought I was only going to stay for a year or so but wow what a ride it’s been – met some truly incredible humans (you know who you are!!), fell head over heels for the cycling community (my true obsession!) which also meant I amassed a borderline ridiculous bike and rapha kit collection, became an ironman which turned me into a total ocean swimming super fan, tried surfing approximately a million times and never quite got the hang of it, cycled and traveled to every corner of this stunning country and all the neighboring countries around it, immersed myself and learned all about the indigenous culture, discovered my passion for camp cooking, had close encounters with all sorts of weird & wild animals, crushed some seriously awesome work projects - all in all so many incredible memories that’ll last a lifetime!! and of course in the midst of adding australian citizenship to my collection I somehow – somehow – swapped my american accent for an australian one….
