Lawrence, Massachusetts, is known as the “City of Immigrants.” From European textile workers in the 1800s to the large Dominican community arriving in the 1980s, today over 80% of Lawrence is Latino, making it New England’s first minority-majority city.
The De La Isla Souvenir T-Shirt is a collab project with my brother @armanialxndr , the design was inspired by our shared love of collecting vintage souvenir tees from around the world. 🌎 We started this idea in April 2024, and over a year later, we have our final draft-- commemorating DISLA’s upcoming 2026 collection.
This piece celebrates cultural pride and honors the immigrant stories of our parents and the many families who make up our community in Lawrence.
Immigrants are what make America great. ❤️

Some of my oldest memories are of being a little girl, completely in awe of Selena. She was the first artist I remember being a fan of, my mom and I bonded over our love for her, playing her CDs, dancing, and singing together in the living room. I was drawn to her style, her energy, and the way she radiated confidence on stage.
Seeing Selena shine meant everything. She was one of my first style influences. I remember obsessing over her outfits and the way she carried herself in them. She made me want to design clothes like hers one day, to create pieces that make people feel powerful, beautiful, and unapologetically themselves.
Thank you for your impact, your music, and your legacy. RIP, Selena 💜

After 5 years of building the operations, product development, and creative direction of my business, I’m beyond excited to officially launch my Winter Capsule Collection — and with it, the official launch of my brand! ❄️
The Winter Capsule was born from a moment of reflection last month, when I stepped back from working on my larger collection to create something special for the holiday season. It all came together so quickly, and I loved every minute of the process. A huge thank you to all the incredible women who helped bring this project to life.
A special thank you to @elissa.salas for your guidance and support. You are such an important part of DISLA, no matter the distance. 🫶🏼
And shout out to @armanialxndr for being my partner in crime throughout the entire creative process over the years. 🧸
