Twisted Teens ⛓️ Fronted by singer Caspian Hollywell, Twisted Teens, out of New Orleans, plays a cracked, county-tinged garagerock, crusted in fuzz and zinging with frantic slides. Hollywell has a voice like a cat’s tongue, raspy but soft; a bit like the rough-edged blues-i-ness voice of Greg Cartwright (Reigning Sound, The Oblivians 😍). Together with Razor Ramon Santos (@ramones.turpentine ) on steel (!) guitar the @twistedteensneworleans duo channels American country for a raw, righteous and original sound! ‘Blame The Clown’ is their second album. It’s cool. It’s great! (The orange one in the pic is last year’s debut). This album might be hard to get here in Europe, but I do know the @waaghalsnl recordshop in my hometwon of Arnhem has a copy in the bins! Get it or regret it! Thank you to @that_snot_funny_comics for sending us this care package a few weeks ago. It included a ton of awesome stickers, a copy of the set list from when @twistedteensneworleans played @sidthecatauditorium in CA last month and also this great rendition of our logo. I love Alex’s depictions of classic album covers and I would like to do a run of stickers of the Twisted Teens design he made. He sent us a few dozen of them and we have been been putting one each in wholesale orders we receive but if you would like us to make a run of them or even tshirts please let us know in the comments and we will see if we can make it happen #twistedteensneworleans #thatsnotfunnycomics
