This might be my last post about my 40th, and it’s dedicated to the people who made it an unforgettable adventure. Let me tell you: Planning a trip for a massive group is stressful. But thankfully, they all agreed to everything I told them we were doing so long as there was wine around. Who knew I would be a genuis travel planner?
The star of my 40th birthday trip: 🇬🇷
When I first started thinking about this trip, it took me a while to settle on the where. I love a lot of places. There are many more that I would love to visit one day. I thought about Portugal, obviously, and Croatia. I briefly considered Sicily and Turkey. There would have been no bad choice. I just knew I wanted coastal southern Europe. But as you can see from these photos, Greece—from Thessaloniki to Athens to Crete and then that surprise weekend on Santorini—delivered one unforgettable moment after another.
The best part was it seems like everyone who joined fell (more) in love with Greece during the trip, too.
