Another
@CinemaCon has come and gone, so I guess it’s time for my annual Instagram post. Returning completely exhausted, yet enthused for all the moviegoing magic awaiting us in 2025 and beyond.
Among the many moments I’ll take with me — Mark Hamill walking offstage with the Cinema Icon award to the swell of John Williams’ score. Speaking of score (and Williams for that matter)
@universalpictures presentation boasted a live orchestra opening with a musical retrospective of the Universal catalog. From orchestral thrills to
@Lionsgate treating us to a mini concert from The Weeknd, to the silence following Tom Cruise asking 4,000 people to take a moment to remember Val Kilmer in the
@paramountpics presentation, it was another eventful, emotional year.
@sonypictures surprised on the spot with Sam Mendes revealing not one, but four movies about the Fab Four.
@amazonmgmstudios was a welcome addition this year, stunning with a first trailer for Project Hail Mary. I got to check into the Continental with the
@johnwickexperience alongside Ana De Armas. Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande delivered a thrillifying first look at
@wickedmovie For Good. And all the studios shared a ton of films that I can’t wait to see — where they belong, on the big screen.
P.S - Thanks
@edgarwright for the tip on refrigerated Junior Mints. ☺️
Thanks to Stan Ruszkowski, Daniel Loria, and all of my
@boxofficeco and
@boxofficemagazine family and colleagues for bringing me on again to cover the conference and produce the CinemaCon 2025 podcast series.
A big shoutout to Mitch M.Neuhauser,
@cinemaunitedofficial Michael O’Leary and the entire
