the trip made it out of the groupchat!! February stands undefeated as my favorite month, and Valentine’s Day as my favorite holiday!!! 🤍 feeling lucky to be able to love and be loved by the most amazing people 🤍

2025 has been quite the year…but there’s angels all around me! ✨🪽✨🤍 I’ve learned more about myself than any year before…not because everything worked out, but because when it didn’t I was able to step back, reflect, and prioritize the things that truly matter….and the overwhelming feeling is that I’m so proud of my growth! I learned I’m more capable than I imagined: to overcome hardships, trust my institution, and become a guiding light in the moments that felt scary and dark. Academically, professionally, and personally, I have checked off so many boxes and exceeded my own expectations of what I thought was possible. I experienced heart-ache in different forms and depths, but I also experienced twice as much joy, love, and fulfillment. I was reminded time and time again that my village continues to grow bigger and stronger every time we show up for each other— through struggles, celebrations, but most importantly the mundane in-betweens. I admire and am endlessly inspired by those I hold nearest and dearest, and that’s the greatest gift life has given me. Now I’m walking into the new year full of dreams and goals, many of which already feel so tangible…and I can’t help but look at my future, my people (and my bebé nephew ofc) with so much excitement and anticipation. Cheers to ‘26! Time to vision board!! ✂️📝✨📖

𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐑 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐍’𝐬 𝟑𝟎/𝟑𝟎 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 First of all, I want to thank @rad.izda.name for nominating me. I feel so honored to have been be recognized as one of Miami’s top 30 under 30 Designers for 2025. Thank you @caroline.g.murphy and @interiordesignmag for organizing and hosting such a thoughtful and interactive event. And a special thanks to @turf.design and @xopennyrose for being an amazing sponsor and now new friend! As a recent grad, this kind of community building and support is one of my main motivators to do better, be more involved, and give back to my fellow designers and reps. I’m excited to have met so many amazing people and been part of such valuable conversations. And it goes without saying, but I’m so happy and proud of all the FIU girls who were recognized as well, it’s so well deserved. And just like that…I HAVE A MASTER’S IN INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE 🎓✨🥂🍾 From the late-night tears trying to figure out the most basic AutoCAD commands, to the frustrations of learning how to a build staircase, to the gorilla glue stuck on every finger, to the computer lags mid Zoom presentation, to the re-adjustments during and post quarantine, to the Revit-induced headaches, to the all-nighters that bonded us together…and the vending machine snacks that kept us alive through it all… are some of the endearing memories of challenges that once felt overwhelming, but we eventually overcame- and now laugh about in hindsight. These six amazing years now feel like a lifetime and a blink all at the same time. Although this chapter might have come to an end, I’m walking away with more than just a degree… the memories, the experiences, the passion, the dedication, and the strangers who turned into lifelong friends, are some of the prized possessions I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life.
