⭐️DANCE ENSEMBLE AUDITIONS⭐️ Happening this Wednesday!! Join us in the dance studio from 4:15-5:15 to audition for Dance Ensemble for the 2026-2027 school year! All current CFA students who have completed or are currently enrolled in a Level I class are able to audition! Students should plan to warm up, learn a contemporary movement phrase, and perform in small groups! Please don’t hesitate to stop by the dance studio with any questions!

Hear some words from ALEXANDRA 💗 My time in CFA has been years full of growth and fun experiences. I’ve learned to work with others, push myself, and have grown as a dancers. My plans for next year is to major in Pre-Med/Chemistry at VCU The title of my piece is called “cut me loose” . this piece is about letting go of your thoughts, acceptance, and trying to be more aware in connections. I’ve explored different styles like modern and ballet, stepped out of my comfort zone, and found confidence in trying new things. Along the way, I’ve built lifelong bonds and spent two unforgettable years on the dance team. These past four years have shaped me in so many ways. I’ve created so many memories at Henrico and I’ll always carry those memories with me. My piece, “The End of Time,” is all about letting go, having fun, and embracing your sassy energy. Hear some words from 👑 TAYLOR 👑 Throughout my four years at Henrico, I have made lifetime connections and grown in so many ways. I tried new dance classes, joined clubs, and had the honor of becoming the 2026 Senior Class President. I have also been a part of the dance team for all four years and served as head captain for two of those years. During this time, I’ve been able to go on trips to NYC, Pittsburgh, and Norfolk, which were all fun experiences and great opportunities. Some of my favorite CFA memories are our Monday talk circles where we share stories about our weekends. I have truly enjoyed my time at CFA, and I will always cherish the memories and experiences I made here. My group piece is titled “The Queen Crew” and it focuses on having fun within your own body and embracing your inner queen. It’s about confidence, energy, and celebrating yourself My solo is titled “The Vertex” which represents being at the peak and final moments of my senior year. While this time can feel stressful and overwhelming, my solo shows the importance of finding the calm, staying in the present, and appreciating the moment. Leave some love for Taylor!
