Art is therapy. I especially vibe with #pottery. When I'm just focused on my process of #creation it is hard to be burdened by thoughts, fears and worries. Instead we are present in the moment, breathing and feeling able and powerful. #wellness #restorativepractices #arttherapy Clay #play is one of the best forms of restorative practice, which are habits and routines that support nervous system regulation and decrease symptoms of #stress. I chose to host a #artandwellnessretreat here in Bali because for me I had never been more rejuvenated than when I was in nature and making #art. So happy to share this opportunity to challenge the normal view of what #selfcare can look like. We often limit ourselves by not trying these types of modalities for fear that we are not artistic or we disservice ourselves by comparing our creation to others. Everything we make is what we made and it's perfect like that. A mindset to hold on to.👀 What a great day we had with @ceramicclass learning skills for hand building and wheel. 😍💕✨ 'Twas magical.
