We knew the circumstances were good for a fast time and we took full advantage of it. Just 4 seconds shy of the overall world record, but setting a new one in our age group.

A tough day at the office and a bitter pill to swallow. One week you feel unstoppable and the next week it’s the opposite.
And yet, I felt immense pride to be lining up against some of the best in the world with a mindset to be competitive that night. Last night perhaps reflects a different story, but I know what is within us 🤝🏽 @maartenenthoven@hidde.w & @thierryraoul showed resilience after being misfortunate early on in the race and that’s something I personally can learn from.
We all know by now @louis_osselaer is a force to be reckoned with but in my eyes @emilemattheeuws is the real mvp. This guy has a massive future ahead of him. Such a pure soul aswell. Congrats on the win guys❤️

This weekend in Helsinki, @cembundy and I secured our first win together as a doubles team with a finishing time of 49:19.
Our next double race is already next weekend in Heerenveen @hyroxbenelux and the competition will be fierce again.
Huge thanks to @trailbergofficial for the support in bringing home the white flag.
Been chasing that number for a season straight now.. Very happy it finally came to fruition today.

This sport has given me a lot, and I have a lot to give back. I needed this race to be certain of that.
