Exciting News from the Heart of the Peruvian Andes! 🇵🇪🦙
We are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking initiative in Tarma, Peru, where impactMarket, Ammer Cards, Celo Foundation, and the local NGO Agape Hands are teaming up for a noble cause. Together, they are launching a pilot program that aims to make a real difference in the lives of the community.
For the next 3 months, this program will provide Unconditional Basic Income and Microcredit to empower the people of Tarma. Through their individual Ammer Cards, beneficiaries will be able to use cUSD seamlessly at selected merchants, boosting local businesses and stimulating economic growth.
By the end of the pilot, eligible beneficiaries will also have the opportunity to access microcredit. We are eagerly anticipating the positive impact this initiative will have and are confident that it will open doors for similar projects in the future.
