As we close out 2025, I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey this year has been. Itโs with a full heart that I express just how privileged I feel to have worked with such an amazing team and the best wineries in our area. Your passion and commitment have inspired me every day, and I am endlessly grateful for each one of you.
This year has been a testament to hard work and dedication. Iโve poured my heart and soul into everything we do and Ithe biggest shout out is to our kids, I couldnโt have done it without the unwavering support of the little ones. You might not know it, but they are taste testers and usually behind the scenes somewhere.

People often ask us, โWhat does Staviary mean?โ
Staviary is a word that Eric created during his time running a barrel warehouse in Chicago, where he aged beers in spirits and wine barrels. The wooden pieces that form a barrel are called staves, and both Eric and I have always shared a love for birdsโtheir ability to fly forward and rise higher. Our first date also took place at an incredible cocktail lounge in Chicago called Aviary. When you blend staves with aviary, Staviary was born!
The name took on even deeper significance when we got married in Ericโs barrel warehouse, with โStaviaryโ printed as the location on our wedding invitations.
So, when it came time to name our restaurantโa dream 15 years in the makingโthere was simply no better choice than this name that encompasses our history, our passion, and our love.

Savoring dishes like @mightycapmushrooms poutine, paella with poached egg, crispy shrimp with zesty remoulade, lemon pesto and soft-boiled egg, steak and deviled eggs, Chicago dogs, Malortadella, arancini, and filthy martini friesโyou could say it was a feast for the senses!
