the may newsletter is up online and available in the store! it includes a very long essay this month with some preaching about my love of shorts + sweaters, the constant inspiration i derive from nina leen’s circus photos and the 1965 and 1967 photos from the nasa field trips to iceland, and my usual comments on synthetics and the environment.

i’ve painted a backdrop, @studio.arby has made some large scale props, and @delistudios will be taking your pics! for $20, you’ll get 3 edited photos emailed to you after the day of the shoot. choose which props you want to pose with and pose solo or with friends. each session will be approximately 5-10 minutes. you can also sign up for more than one session if you want more photos!
there will be events happening throughout the alley and the neighborhood all day, including a runway show at 3 pm, so be sure to stop on by!

you’ve asked and i’ve delivered! i introducing a new jumbo bucket bag! it has the front pockets of our book pocket tote and the structure of the jimmy bucket bags! it’s also lined in a bright yellow so the inside isn’t just a massive abyss. it’s heavyweight enough to stand up on its own, which is always a plus if you lug around as much as i do. it’s also handy if you’re constantly wrangling a wild little dog and need to put your stuff down without everything spilling all over the ground. i’m assuming this is a universal problem.

actually all tees (jimmy and horse ones, too) have been restocked in most of the cropped sizes except i confused myself so it’s not all sizes in all graphics. sorry! if you keep missing your size (or want a non-cropped one), let me know and i can add it to the next batch.
