I never thought that my first film will receive so much love from so many people. Totally indebted to people who have watched the film and appreciated it in last one and a half years.

My Ghazal and Inder 💕🌸.
As a filmmaker when you write a script you have your wish list of artists you think would be perfect for the role. I always had Mrunal and Avinash in my mind when I was writing. But when it was time to approach them It came down to me that thinking in your head is one thing and really approaching and convincing people to do the film is another. I was so prepared to get rejected by everyone. Because that’s what happens in the book. Right ?
I was wrong and how. I was totally speechless when Mrunal said excitedly that it’s your first, of course I am doing your film darling and when Avinash said that you have written Inder keeping me in mind that’s enough for me. I would have done any role in your film ♥️
From that day on to this day when the film is released and getting a lot of appreciation from everywhere, the journey has been magical. Sometimes I fall short of words to describe this feeling of being loved selflessly and immensely.
I would be lying if I say that this journey was always smooth and steady. As every film has its own struggle, even Jahaan has seen its fair share of ups and downs and rejections and heartbreaks.
And however bookish it sounds but truly LOVE kept me going. Love from these two wonderful humans and my fellow collaborators on this film who happen to be my friends first and have been my cheerleaders through the entire journey. They have been wind beneath my wings so that I could fly fearlessly.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who have watched Jahaan, appreciated the efforts of the team and showered love upon us.

Faith, Gratitude and Hope!
I wanted to write this for a long time now. Last couple of months have been really challenging. Mentally, physically and emotionally. I felt like I was walking or I would say dragging myself in a dark tunnel without any hope. But as they say there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, I too found my way to heal myself. Also, these dark times make you realise how fortunate you are to have people who love and support you when you are at your lowest. I wouldn’t have been looking at life with hope again if not for people who kept me and my family in their prayers and comforted me with their words and actions. I am forever grateful to you all. You know who you all are. This post is to remind myself of the life changing times, resilience and self discovery. I feel like I am a different person now and I am liking this new version of myself more.
