These pair are very nearly finished....just need to trim the bases when they pop off the batt. 😁 Then a bisque and a glaze firing. Pottery has so many stages!

I'm very pleased with this pair 😁 ....the same diameter but one lid is slightly higher than the other. But that's handmade pottery for you...no 2 pieces will be exactly the same! Now to let them dry a bit further so I can do some carving. They were thrown as an enclosed form and the top trimmed off along an indentation on the side of the form to create the lid. After a bit of turning and trimming they fit perfectly 😁

Well I wasn't going to do any glazing tonight....but made a start on these. 3 coats of amaco celadon snow white to the rims and the carved details. The rest will be done tomorrow...its getting late! 😴😴😴
PS the dice are to remind me how many coats of glaze I have applied!
