Right off the back of Splore, we boosted back to Tāmaki to help bring Auckland Pride’s vibrant closing celebration to life with our makers market.
Our ataahua vendors showed up and showed out right through to the rain. As we packed down the stalls, the party carried on with people dancing in the park beneath the downpour.
It felt fitting. Very joyful. Very queer. ✨
We’re taking a short pause from markets now and will return in July for a season that feels especially close to our heart… Matariki ⭐️✨

Creating a magical little space inside a festival environment to connect with you IRL is so special to me. There’s nothing quite like it!!
It’s taken 5 years of trial and error to get here, but seeing everything come together (and watching you enjoy the space) makes all the mahi worthwhile 🥹🫶🏼✨
While I was at Splore I had a realisation. THIS is where the heart of Celestial lives. Inside these temporary environments where we all come together to play, explore, and connect.
For one weekend the weight of the world lifts a little, and we get to exist in harmony with the shared goal of having a good time.
These pockets of peace feel important to me, and I’m so grateful we get to contribute a little bit of wonder to them.✨

Pride ’26 culminates in a luminous sunset gathering in the heart of the Gaybourhood!! A market, a showcase, and a boldly queer celebration of artistry, resilience, and joy.
Forty years on from being told to “stay in the gutter,” we’re reclaiming the streets with colour, connection, and pride. Because Pride isn’t only about where we’ve been, it’s about where we’re heading.
