Who better to paint than Malcolm X, someone who represents standing firmly for your own, “By any means necessary.”
Anacostia Mural Fest has been good to me. What a privilege to restore the murals on such a powerful landmark here in the city. This experience was more than just painting a dope mural. It was a chance to really connect with the community on Minnesota Ave, creating something they could genuinely be proud of. A wall that thousands walk by routinely, will now inspire them all over again. I’m happy I could contribute to the history of DC.
Between sharing a wall with my favorite muralists and seeing people’s eyes light up as they watched us get to work, this experience was top tier. This is the Mount Rushmore of Benning Rd. A wall full of talent and deeply rooted black history. Please go check it out, take photos, be inspired, and most importantly spread love!

NBC pulled up to the BĀSMNT for a special interview to talk about art, purpose, sports, my father’s recent passing and how I tied all of these things together in my most recent opportunity, live painting for the Commanders organization & fans, bringing awareness to early cancer detection through the Crucial Catch initiative. From the BĀSMNT to @beamconfident the “So Icy” mural in the custom grillz room. These last two weeks took a lot of dedication and grit, but it was beyond worth it. This mural exceeded even my own expectations. Always a blessing when I get to create something special for the friends and family who believe in me.

Today, come celebrate the unveiling of Minnesota Ave’s newest murals. Curated by Capitol Hill Boys Club (@chbcartgallery ) Anacostia Mural Fest brought together over 100 artists to restore and reimagine murals throughout Wards 7 & 8 over the past two weeks.
The historic wall at 3919 Minnesota Ave NE was transformed by an incredible lineup of muralists, each bringing their own voice, style, and story to the neighborhood.
