Today, we'll have the last evening of a wonderful festival : Always, Already There, a great initiative lead by George E. Lewis. First, the second part of Composing While Black and then more concerts with Com Chor Berlin, conducted by Shelly Phillips, Jessica Ekomane and International Contemporary Ensemble Music : Jessica Ekomane, Elaine Mitchener, Njabulo Phungula, Fay Victor, Anthony R. Green, Monthati Masebe, Shelly Phillips. --> /programme/always-already-there/the-wide-open-mouth#main We had amazing moments, interesting talks, exchanges, dialogues, presentations and concerts. I feel honoured to have spent so much time and exchanged with all musicians, composers and curators. It was a unique experience that will surely lead to more projects and collaborations.
