We are so happy to finally share our news with you!
@elladelestre.underwear@cedricvanhool and @feniaproost are designing and hosting a weeklong exhibition @vitesse.lab With an opening at 30/05 starting from 20h we invite you to come listen and watch some performance performed by @oceane__lhomme , @carlins23 , @mirabiermans and @pusssyma , as part of the design proces.
On 06/06 we are preparing a special free diner starting from 19h, for everyone, made by the beautiful hands of @henderickxemmeline and @mariedekeulenaer accompanied by a mesmerising set of @gone_icon . The cups and bowls we will using are handmade by @astera.ceramics
During the week we love to welcome you aswell. @elladelestre.underwear and @feniaproost will be showing their designs (lingerie, clothes and dinnerware) and yes! You can fit them and order them at that very moment.

@cedricvanhool is a 25 year old designer living in Brussels, fascinated by all the things aesthetically pleasing to all senses.
Cédric's drag persona, Alizée, came about by participating in a drag workshop curated by @veronika.deneuve , and eventually became his very own personal director, working at the intersection of drag and design. 💙

QUEERED OBJECTS
—La Candelabra—
Departing from a kind of lack in my daily life, I went exploring in the queer community and its subcultures. I saw my master's thesis in product design as an opportunity to include queer culture and queerness in my professional life as a designer. As a first step in this voyage of discovery, I immersed myself in the colourful drag culture. A very visual culture that has been gaining popularity for decades and that is also becoming more and more 'accepted'. By exploring the local drag scene, I tried to become familiar with the methods and style. To support this I created my own drag alter ego, Alizée. Through her, an object was created that can be described as drag.
The object, a candelabra, has besides a decorative and illuminating function, also a role as a performance object. Namely a pole dance. The design came about by mixing Alizée's taste and queer historic symbolism into one classy whole.

Cédric Van Hool is an all-round designer. Thanks to an extensive field of interest, he is active within various contexts.
He hopes to be able to contribute to a better world through his role as a designer. A world in which everyone feels at home. As a designer, he finds the simplicity and purity of material and function very important. To reinforce this, his projects are invariably handmade.
In his design, Cédric is always to the point with often just that little bit more.
