life has been amazing ever since i moved back to new york city! cat crash is so back, we're selling out venues, i live in the heart of flushing, i'm employed, marcie, my hair is pink, i have the greatest friends of all time i get to see all the time and play d&d with, i just turned 23!!
those who know me well know i've been gunning to get out of connecticut since high school. i'm out! i left! i write this on the train to CT to play a show at Toad's Place tomorrow 😅. connecticut will always be the place i grew up and where i got my start but NYC is my home and i feel insanely lucky to have the privilege to live here. i used to say "the worst day in NYC is better than the best day in connecticut," but it really is true, just being here makes me happy.
we have over 25 cat crash shows planned in the upcoming months so i hope to see my friends from all over at the show!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE HOTTEST FRONTPERSON ALIVE @cecilqyang 😜🔥 it’s actually insane that we only crossed paths a little over a year ago. you've become such a massive force in my life. cecil is just one of those people whose determination, grit, and confidence immediately raises the bar for everyone around them. watching you build shows from the ground up, organize insane lineups,raise money for charity, and still show up 100% for the people you care about is so inspiring. you constantly push me (and literally everyone in your orbit) to be better, braver, and more committed to what we love. none of the effort you put in goes unnoticed, even if it feels like it sometimes!! i genuinely wish i could be half as driven as you are. i cherish your unconditional friendship more than I can put into words. i'm manifesting that this new year on earth is going to be bigger, louder, and better than the last. you are so loved 💞
