It was such a pleasure to host our mayor, Corey Woods, at Bike Saviours to help him find an affordable, gently used bike that fits his needs. He worked with our volunteers to learn how to get it road-ready and took it home on Tuesday, Earth Day. He rode it to work the next day. I believe it’s always a good thing when we get our elected officials out on bikes and cycling our city so they understand the benefits, the barriers, and the risks, and can make better policy decisions that support cycling laws and infrastructure.
