3rd graders planted 71 cabbages this week!They also learned about companion plants, the brassica plant family and started a cabbage log.

Ms Maty’s class planted cauliflower and spinach in the garden today.  They also enjoyed writing in their journals.  The orchard is a great writing spot!

A successful and beautiful morning in the Learning Patch.  We protected new seedlings and veggie transplants w/ bird netting, added perennial color to the entrance desert bed, and decorated the circle bed with flowers including coreopsis, snapdragons, nasturtiums and fern leaf lavender!!
