Congratulations Derik Lynch, Matthew Thorne and the entire team behind the short film Marungka Tjalatjunu/Dipped in Black. This South Australian short film just won the prestigious 'Silver Bear Jury Prize (Short film)' AND the 'Teddy Award for Best Short Film' at the Berlinale International Film Festival. CDW Animation is proud to have done all the VFX for this film, and we're looking forward to seeing where it goes from here!
Big congratulations to Ben Sakovits for his work on the short film "Marungka tjalatjunu" last year. It might not have premiered at the Adelaide Film Festival as planned, so now It's premiering at Berlinale (one of the world's three most respected film festivals (Venice and Cannes are the other two), and a "Golden Bear" win would automatically qualify the short for an Oscar nomination).
