It is Mental Health Awareness Week, and at CDW UK, we are Taking Action.
This year’s theme reminds us that small, intentional steps can make a real difference to our wellbeing and the community around us when we Act as One.
From offering our Time to Thrive wellbeing sessions to all coworkers, to delivering our sunshine packages to local mental health charities across London, Manchester, Rugby, Huntingdon, and Peterborough, we are committed to supporting each other. Whether it is joining a call, sharing a song, or checking in on a coworker, these actions drive our One CDW culture.
Watch the video below to hear a message from our Thrive team about our commitment to wellbeing across the UK.

The CDW team made a massive splash for the planet with a phenomenal series of clean-up events, teaming up with the fantastic plastic pollution charity Life's a Beach to tackle litter from city streets all the way to the coast!
• Manchester: Partnered with HP to clean up the Salford area and prevent waste from reaching our waterways and oceans.
• London: Our Finance team cleaned up Holland Park as part of the Global Finance Week of Service.
• Norfolk Coast: Joined forces with Proofpoint for a traditional beach clean-up, protecting local wildlife from plastic debris.
Massive thanks to all who dedicated their time and energy to these events!
What an incredible week it's been for our Work Experience programme in London! As the second stop in our trio of programmes (following Peterborough and ahead of Manchester), this past week was filled with fantastic learning and engagement.
A huge thank you to our VP of Sales and Solutions, Kevin Stavers, for kicking off the week and inspiring our cohort. And a massive shout-out to all the CDW UK coworkers who dedicated their time, shared their expertise, and gave their all to show our students the inner workings of CDW and how we support our customers. Your commitment made a real difference.
At CDW UK, we place immense importance on early careers and truly believe in inspiring the next generation – they are, after all, the future of our industry.
Next and final stop for this year's programme is Manchester next week!

CDW welcomes local cadets to our Logistics and Technology Centre
As part of our ongoing commitment to the UK Armed Forces Covenant, CDW recently welcomed the Rugby Sea Cadets and Royal Marine Cadets to our new Logistics and Technology Centre. This visit offered young cadets a behind-the-scenes look at our industry and the exciting career opportunities available to them in the future.
We’re proud to support the Armed Forces community - including cadets, veterans, reservists, and their families - by building meaningful connections and showcasing the value of their unique skills and experiences.
Our Armed Forces Network continues to champion this mission, helping to bridge the gap between military life and corporate careers.

Inspiring Acceptance and Understanding at CDW
As part of our Movember campaign and in anticipation of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (observed globally on 3 December), our Able and Thrive Business Resource Groups hosted an uplifting session with Henry Fraser – painter, author, and motivational speaker.
Henry shared his extraordinary story of resilience and reinvention. At just 17, his life changed forever during a holiday celebrating his A-Level results. A routine dive into the sea left him paralysed from the shoulders down.
"Being challenged in life is inevitable, but being defeated is optional." – Henry Fraser
Through vulnerability, strength, and determination, Henry has embraced his new reality, discovered new passions, and inspired countless others to approach life’s challenges with grit, curiosity, and acceptance.
Thank you, Henry, for sharing your story and showing us the strength in vulnerability. 💙
At CDW, we’re thrilled to introduce our new Local Impact Programme — a Social Impact initiative that empowers coworkers to support the charities they care about most through grant funding tied to their volunteer efforts.
This year, our Manchester team has partnered with The Booth Centre, a charity providing vital support for individuals affected by homelessness. From warm meals and therapy to workshops and a strong sense of community, The Booth Centre is making a real difference in people’s lives.
Through the Local Impact Programme grant, our Manchester coworkers funded an entire month’s food shopping for the centre, amplifying their volunteer efforts.
Holly Cove, Account Representative and Social Impact Ambassador, shared:
"Being involved with The Booth Centre is incredibly rewarding. It’s inspiring to work for a company that values community impact. From serving meals to funding initiatives, we’ve seen first-hand how this collaboration changes lives. We’re excited to continue making a difference!”
We’re so proud of our coworkers' commitment to driving positive change in their local communities. 💙
