The 2024 @fsnhalf FSNHalf is this Saturday and we need your help! This is our 2nd annual half marathon, professionally timed and scored, USATF-certified, and it’s shaping up to be a fast, competitive event.
Last year, Matt Lenehan @mattl_inc took the men’s race in 1:07:26, Leigh Sharek @wicked.la won the women’s race in 1:17:07, and Jordan Caroompas @jordancaroompas led the non-binary field with a time of 1:24:46. We’re expecting even more competition this year, and we’d love to see you out there, whether you’re racing, volunteering, or watching your friends rip!

Join us on November 2nd, 2024, the day before the NYC Marathon, for an awesome afternoon is Brooklyn’s beautiful Prospect Park! The ‘First Saturday of November’ Half Marathon is a great race option for people in town for (but not running) the NYC Marathon. The race is several loops around a closed, USATF Certified course in the park, and can be used as a time qualifier for next year’s NYC Marathon!

Registration for the FSN Half will open today at 12:00pm! Join us in Prospect Park on November 2nd, the day before the NYC Marathon. The FSN Half is ran on a USATF Certified, closed, course and can be used as a time qualifier for the NYC Marathon.
Last year at the inaugural event we hosted over 150 of NYC’s beautiful running community! We can’t wait to see how many register this year.

If you are in NYC for Marathon weekend this year don’t miss out on this awesome event and after party, the day before the marathon. Race, volunteer or spectate at this amazing NYC running community event!

The Inaugural FSN Half launched on November 4th, 2023, the day before the NYC Marathon. The Men’s Race was won by Matt Lenehan in 1:07:26, the Women’s Race was won by @wicked.la in 1:17:07, and the Non-Binary’s Race was won by @jordancaroompas in 1:24:46! These three champions beat out a field of over 150 athletes for the win.

If you are in town the First Weekend in November 2024 for the NYC Marathon and you want to rip a USATF Certified Half Marathon that is also a timed qualifier, keep the FSN Half in mind. Although we saw extremely fast finishing times, this race is for all runners. It’s also a lot of fun just given the NYC Running Community shows up in droves to compete, not to mention volunteer, photograph and cheer!
