"Lovesmenot", Untitled1, & 2 by Chris Coward.
In his work, Chris Coward explores universal themes of internal emotional turbulence. His compositions are constructed through ambiguous allegorical elements and a monochromatic atmosphere, building images that feel both vaguely familiar and open to interpretation.

New piece drawn up for the @cane.yo : Running with Scissors group show opening in Berlin on Thursday 23rd April. It always gives me pleasure to share wall space with the talented super freaks I’m lucky to have found myself immersed within. Glad to be a part of this showing some new work. To all my Berlin friends, go check out the show it’s set to be stacked. This piece is 21x29, graphite and monoprint on paper.
Some kind of 2025 roundup with some friends and things I like and of course, the girl I love the most that keeps me willingly fumbling on through the years, @raquelzeneratto te amo muito, saudade, Se não é você, não é ninguem ❤️🔥 Whilst art is real difficult for me right now and on the back-burner as I regulate myself a bit, I think it’s important to immortalise some good parts that worked hard to show themselves through the absolute tripe that dominates bloody everything and some of the people that made it possible.
The third and final drawing I completed for the recent Cane Yo group show at Copeland Gallery which ended last weekend. That 5 days of exhausting socialising and wonderful memories with those wildly talented friends is something I will always hold dear in my heart and I imagine it will deserve its own separate post in the not so distant future. Bonus me-with-dog-in-Germany-film-photo at the end because it’s cute. Graphite and ink on paper 29x42cm
All three drawings are available to purchase and can all come framed or unframed - DM me for more details.

Another one for the We Fell in Love on the Internet exhibition by Cane Yo via Copeland Park gallery. I finished this drawing about a week ago, following a 10 day bacterial throat infection whilst on holiday in Germany which was savage and gross. But I am pretty happy with the piece and you can come see it in the flesh among plenty of others on show in Peckham as of right now. Graphite and ink on paper, 29.7x42cm

We Fell in Love on the Internet: A @cane.yo group show at Copeland Gallery in Peckham - PV Thursday 14th of August. This is one of a few new pieces I’ll be showing alongside another 35 absolutely incredible artists, friends and lunatics alike. It seems fitting choosing @raquelzeneratto as my muse for this piece given the exhibition title and Cane Yo being the space which we first interacted. It’s gonna be one heck of a show, if you’re in London, come and see some art 🖼️ pencil and ink on paper 30x42cm #caneyo #copelandparkse
Yesterday we got the opportunity to make our first collaborative tattoo together, our take on a great William Grimshaw flash. Special thanks to @ella_scotch for travelling and trusting us to tag team your shin, you sat like a very cute and steady rock. I hope the future holds more space for joint tattoos ☯️

Releitura de um desenho do Grimshaw que fiz com meu amado! Obrigada Ella pela liberdade 💌
Espero que o futuro tenha mais tattoos colaborativas guardadas pra nós 🤸♀️🧚♀️🫶🏻
Keep on truckin’
Whenever I put together a drawing there’s always some form of allegorical factor driving the piece for me. I try not to make it brazen or too on the nose, that is for me to keep to myself, but I do often wonder what others construct in their minds from the composition. I enjoyed making this one and I will absolutely take that incredibly rare cognitive win. Pencil and graphite on paper - 21x29cm

Some bits from my first few months at City Lights Tattoo. Thanks to everyone who gave me their trust when I’m just starting out; a special mention to @lmknight and @rwhittakertattoo for allowing me to join the studio and having faith in this old rat-faced boy, every day there is a blast thank you.
I debated over not posting these on grid as most of you I assume are here for the art. Traditional tattoos have been present and a point of huge interest in my life longer than art - I was a late bloomer at 20 when I began doodling - so I have decided this page for now will accommodate both of my creative sweethearts. Both overlap knowingly or otherwise. Anyway, enjoy these bits.
Of course, DM me to book in if you’d like something flash or custom. Good training-wheel prices x
This one’s been on my desk unfinished for a while - I think I brought it to a point where I liked it and was paralysed by the fear of ruining it with the finishing touches necessary to tie it together all nice and tidy, allegorically speaking, for myself. But now the battle is won. Used a rough surfaced paper I don’t normally enjoy for this, but I think it lends a good atmospheric texture with the embossed graphite transfer. Anyway, graphite and ink on paper - 21x28.5cm. Available to buy of course x

A super fun drawing I finished last month and has just arrived safely in its new home today - so now I’m allowed to post. I’m finding out that I enjoy the more awkward compositions, the ones that I get mad and sweaty at when I can’t find the easy route to finish. Like stubbing your toe on purpose or listening to Taylor Swift with your own ears. Pencil and ink on paper.

Recently finished up this little piece initially set out to be a small warm up sketch. But the textbook overthinker with soft, lumpy pea-brain I’ve been cursed with had some other dang ideas and here you have it. I did enjoy this and took a different route with pencil transfer and ink feeling like primary school arts and crafts which was real fun too. Graphite and ink on paper A4 sized.
