Passin Me By | Stone MTN - brought to by @cbrooksart 🔴 One foggy Friday, I made use of my free will to hike Stone Mountain, as I struggled up hill I noticed a man pass me by not only once but twice. The incline was intense , his pace intentional and what seemed effortless for him , reminded me not to give up or compare my time, my body or strength to anyone else. Proof of life is to Be present. be encouraged and motivated to keep going no matter who or what is passing you by….This was an elevated awakening. This Thursday! We are sitting down with documentarian Artemus Jenkins @artemusjenkins ) as he gives a lecture on the threads of storytelling. Enrollment is officially open for STUDY HALL. It is a vital archive of a neighborhood that has since been nearly bulldozed by the government. The second and third slides are from his piece "hood pass". This was created during the Lagos x Atlanta Artist Exchange and captures a purification ceremony upon entering the Kingdom of Agbanikan.
