Yesterday, we joined advocates, partners, and older adults from across the Commonwealth at the Older Adult Lobby Day at the Massachusetts State House to raise our voices for aging services, dignity, and the supports that help older adults remain safe, healthy, and connected in their communities.
A heartfelt thank you to Mass Aging Access, @macouncilsonaging , @aarpmassachusetts , @point32health , and everyone who helped make yesterday such a meaningful and productive day.
Most importantly, thank you to the legislators who took the time to meet with us and hear directly from the older adults we serve. Our older adults left feeling seen, heard, and valued and that means everything. We truly cannot thank you enough for your time, support, and commitment to the people and communities we serve every day.

Our volunteers are the heart of the work that often goes unseen.
From medical escorts to wellness calls, teaching others, and supporting our outreach efforts, they show up in ways that truly change lives.
Many of our volunteers are older adults themselves, bringing empathy, understanding, and a deep sense of community to everything they do.
They are an extension of CBES and a true connection to care.
