What a beautiful day to welcome Santa and kick off the holiday season! CBCNL had so much fun at the Downtown St. John’s Christmas Parade — celebrating The Broadcast’s upcoming 75th anniversary.
On Monday, we took part of CBC’s St. John’s Morning Show on the road! We were live from the Town of Small Point-Broad Cove-Blackhead-Adam’s Cove, ahead of the “We Stand on Guard Once More” benefit show.
A huge thank you to the residents of the North Shore for allowing us to share your stories, during this time of hope and recovery, while trying to find a “new normal,” following this summer’s destructive wildfires.
And a big thanks to the crew that helps make all of this radio magic happen!

I had such a blast on Saturday night for the first taping of @cbcq live in St. John’s!!! Thanks to @tomjoepower and the whole Q team for a seamless production. What a time we had!

Now and then… Seven years ago, I was in @tomjoepower studio @cbcq … dreaming of one day becoming a host. And on Friday, Tom was in MY studio (I’ll call it mine here though yes we share it with the other CBC NL hosts/shows) for the St. John’s Morning Show. What an honour and a pleasure.
