Bringing blooms to Heimtextil 2025! 💐 I was tasked with sourcing and creating the floral installations and plants for this stunning stand, and to be honest, I just trusted my intuition and went for it. There were more than pictured (of course, I forgot to snap them all), but I’m so happy with how these turned out—they truly complement the grand elegance of the space. Wrapping up 2024 with some festive magic ✨ Thrilled to share some of the gorgeous imagery from the @sanctuaryspa Christmas gifting collection, created alongside the talented @jenspenceproduction & @georgewardphoto . This year has had it highs and lows, but has been professionally fulfilling, full of learning and loads of fun. I thought about doing a roundup reel of all the amazing shoots I’ve been part of, but feels overwhelming with the long list of stuff to do before tomorrow😅. Proud to share Benzac’s latest campaign, positioning the brand as the “Truth-Teller” of the acne industry. As art director, I focused on bringing the ‘let’s be real’ message to life by designing teen rooms full of personality and depth. Each space was crafted to reflect the unique character of the individual, creating relatable, authentic glimpses into their lives. Shout out to my talented friend @sandifordsretouchstudio who designed all the bespoke artwork for the games, records and the posters in the ‘fashionista’s’ room. Smashed the brief! Yesterday we said goodbye to a true legend, Adele Atkinson. She’s been a rock throughout my entire life and played every role imaginable, from 2nd Mum to Godmother to colleague and Mentor, and has done it with the huge amount of compassion & generosity that she has shown so many of us. More like family than friends Adele, Alex, Jake, Pretty Alex (as Mum calls her ) and baby Isla, mean an incredible amount to us Bertenshaw’s, and we are very lucky to have shared so many great adventures together over the years. I was obsessed with Big Al as a child, always sat on his knee begging for him to play the guitar and sing. But Adele stole by heart after she dragged me to work with her at age 14, which she bragged about to close friends. She always said I should have been her daughter, it was the first thing she said to me when I visited her the last time. That makes me incredibly honoured & proud. And so heartbroken at the same time. She believed in me and pushed me in to my career when I didn’t know what to do with my life, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Working with her, experiencing her unrelenting talent, drive & determination will always be an inspiration to me, and I will try my best to continue her legacy. Most importantly though she made work fun, her infectious sense of humour & laugh will never be forgotten. I’ve had so many messages from our industry friends explaining how much she impacted their lives and helped them. She really did have time for anyone who needed it, such a rare quality! Set design & styling for DFS Cinesound Sofa. Scroll and you’ll see the design process … 1st I designed and built the bones of the set in SketchUp to allow me to get the scale of the set correct & assist with the set build brief. Secondly Pete Kentfield worked his magic on my vision to create an incredible illustration of the dressed room to sell in to the client. Outdoor shoots have been a huge part of work life since way back. From styling rattan furniture in the gardens of stunning villas in Portugal, to creating Christmas scenes on porches in Congleton, I’ve done it! And I LOVE IT! The fresh air and (if you’re lucky) sunshine is always welcome after a stint in a dark studio. Looking forward to more of the same this year!

Huge thank you to the lovely Ben and Paul for hosting our shoot at their property @thecountryhousediaries . The seemingly effortless eclectic styling, attention to detail and expert finishing, topped off with the the picturesque surroundings make this place truely special. I didn’t want to leave!
