Hey yāall! We are doing another show real real soon. Like two weeks soon. Weāve been working on another jam packed set and hope you all come out and sing along with us!
I never stopped loving you and I appreciate all the pictures you took of me. I miss you and the way I looked through your eyes. Relationships are never easy and long distance made things even harder. Losing you has been one of the most difficult things Iāve been through. I still admire and respect you and look back at our time together fondly. Itās been a long season of grieving and I hope we can both heal and be friends. Thank you for capturing a side of me I could never see before. š·: @lisslock
Time is a construct and everything, but this past year definitely put my life into perspective.
At the end of last February my friend Josh visited OKC from Japan. He had an art show here and we made a bunch of cool music while he was in town.
In March I went to Enid and worked on a feature called To The Stars. This is me taking Iris Deerborn to prom. Kara you are such an outstanding talent. Thanks for being so cool to me. This January the film premiered at Sundance. #tothestars
Memphis in May was tight. Thanks for having me Dax and Jax. Glad you moved in with me when you came back to OKC in September.
Last July I went on a road trip to California. We stopped at the Grand Canyon on the way and it was one of the most magical experiences I had ever had with nature. What a world.
Thanks for taking me across the country and showing me LA Emily. S/o to Michael for taking me to Disneyland on his birthday.
The first week of August I recorded some drums for Yet Again the Sunās latest album, Never Stop Talking. Griff you are the best song writer I know and you inspire to be a better musician. Later that month I recorded five solo tracks and put out Metabaronās demo.
I joined Sunroom in September and over the last six months weāve made some of the funkiest music Iāve ever played.
Last November I was Production Designer on my first feature, Shifter. This is a big deal yāall. Iām very proud of the work I put into this film. Thank you for hiring me to be Art Department Jacob. You are an incredible writer, DP, and director and it was awesome bringing your vision to life. #shifter
And finally, this winter my furnace starting leaking carbon monoxide and a CO detector saved my life. Kind of a weak near-death experience, but it was freaky nevertheless. #blessed
I donāt post much so I just wanted to tell everyone thanks for being part of my life on the Algorithmic Internet. Some of you I see all the time and some of you live far away. I love each and every one of you. This has been the most creative year of my life and it could have all ended if I didnāt wake up to a CO detector beeping in the middle of the night. Life is precious. Love one another. Be cool. Peace.
