Aura opens tomorrow from 2β4 PM at @rumriverart and I share this invitation with care and tenderness for our Minneapolis community.
As Minneapolis continues to navigate the realities of ICE activity and the collective work of protection, advocacy, and care, my heart is deeply with our city. We recognize the weight of this moment and honor the strength, resilience, and solidarity that so many are showing up with each day.
Creating this exhibition alongside my mom, @katrina_barnett_ has been profoundly meaningful. This is our first collaborative show together, rooted in connection, trust, and a shared creative language one I will always hold close.
Iβm deeply grateful to @rumriverart for the opportunity to present our work, and to Maddison and Jelly for their thoughtful care and support with installation and coordination.
All are welcome to the opening. Weβll have a participatory project on site and will be sharing some new work as well.
