i find it hard posting my art — i tell myself it has to be a show stopper and rarely is that the case. but im challenging myself to just do it any way and talk about it. exposure therapy if you will. so :
1. a task suggested by my therapist to "sketch your calm"

From the floating mannequins down to the finger painted dots, this 11x14ft wall and window space has been entirely hand painted and decorated by me •ᴗ•
The idea behind ‘Born Slinky’ was portals, tears in space and alternate dimensions ~~~
The name itself is inspired by the ICONIc song, Born Slippy, which famously features in Trainspotting (which we all know to cover a particular substance that takes you on a similar sort of reality shifting journey,, if you know what i mean)
anyways i am soo grateful for all the lovely responses to this, to @blue.rinse.manchester for giving me free reign and trusting the vision and finally to @konstantinamav__ for taking such beautiful photos 🌟🌀🌟

Our latest spine-tingling window display, “Born Slinky”, has been designed and curated by Aleesha, who has taken inspiration from our graphic ornamental knitwear and colour-block statement pieces to get us in the Halloween spirit 👻
Using her signature style of swirls, whirls, spikes and curls, Aleesha has portrayed a series of spooky portals and all-consuming wormholes to capture the feeling of being chewed up, swallowed and spat back out by time and space. Pretty gnarly right?
