Here's a bit of one of my favourite Cardiff ghost stories. in one of my favourite Cardiff places. I'm on the banks of the Ely River near old Leckwith Bridge.
Additional sound effects from a Robin, the cars on the A4232, and someone working on the opposite bank.

We went for a walk in the Vale of Glamorgan - to Tinkinswood and St Lythan's. Houses for the dead built by the ancestors 6000 years ago.
The old folktales preserved these sacred tombs. The stories kept the people in awe and in fear. Don't go too near the Cursed Field. Don't visit the Kennel of the Greyhound.
We wandered and wondered at leisure in the spring sunshine and found time to pick ramsons- wild garlic.
Mae'r Ddaear yn Glasu. The Earth is Greening 💚
And now I want to get to work, to reimagine a story of these stones for these times and put it in the book of Cardiff Folk Tales.

I've been searching for stories in Rhiwbina today and I found the Twmpath on the hill.
There are two folk tales told about this place.
It's the burial mound of Iestyn ap Gwrgant, the last king of Glamorgan.
Or
It's the place where the devil was tricked into emptying a shovel full of earth.
Two great stories and they're both going into my book
