Now that the dust has settled, we wanted share some of our favourite memories of our last event with @future_imperfect_syd with you. Thank you to all the dancers, to all the amazing artists for their stellar performances, to @ch.ops for the lighting design and operation, to @ch33xi for her beautiful textile installation, and to the crew that made everything run smoothly. Szoliver is a long time fixture of the Budapest scene and and threads the needle between trance, psy, tribe and deep techno. A veteran of festivals such as Ozora and Modem, this isn’t one to miss. As a producer he leans towards a warmer old school trance sound, but as the cosmic captain of techlab.bp, he’s well known for releasing monster VA’s capturing the past few years’ mood of fast and deep genre crossovers. Ph0neme is the organiser of the Future Imperfect series of parties, splitting his time between Eora/Sydney and various parts of Europe and Asia. Operating a strictly genre free zone he flows through dubby, bassy, deep techno and tribal and trancey vibes according to the dancefloor. Having played events with artists including Alison Belle, Autogenesis, CP1, Eastern Distributor, Hohe, Hypnotic Black Magic Miles Pinkert, K.O.P. 32, Visceral Infusions, and many more in the past 12 months, he is a rising star in the Australian scene and well known for always having a surprising track in his pocket. We’re very excited to be hosting MANA for his Eora/‘Australian’ debut. Originally from Nantes, he has posted up on our sunny shores (even if temporarily), and is ready to bring a slice of France to our cherished scene. MANA is a master of proggy deepness incorporated into a heavy but smooth (and sexy) vibe, perfect to warm us up on the 21st. A key member of Nantes’ Mar Collectif, MANA has brought his selections to a myriad of clubs in his city, and beyond. Khey Mysterio has become a well known name in the Paris (and broader French) scene for his tripped-out, half-speed bass grinds and deep techno, all tied together with an affinity for dub. Ranging from slow, sexy and intricate, to fast and floating, his taste leans towards hypnotic journeys which leave us on foreign sonic shores. Feted for his releases on Electric Shapes, Techlab, Blue Night Jungle, Tustance, Geosmine and Bad Tips, and having collaborated with various standout French producers, such as Trois-Quarts Taxi System and Paris based Tewo Rina, Khey Mysterio has cemented himself as a versatile producer who can balance depth and BPM effortlessly. :: Art by @freeshproducee Ticket link in bio, free entry for any First Nations attendees.

Drawbridge is a well known fixture in the Paris scene and we are thrilled to be able to present his live debut in Eora . Winding between psychedelic dub and organic tribe, his live sets fuse experimental sound design and meditative textures with both danceability and introspection. A prolific producer, he has releases on Tustance, Electric Shapes, Techlab, Geosmine and 1.60hz, and has collaborated with luminaries including Pal Parallax and Smogo. He has also recently had radio features on Gimic and Kiosk radio and played some killer live sets at venues including Macadam. On February 21 Future Imperfect and @cataphonic_ will team up with heavyweight Budapest-based label, @techlab.bp to bring a truly huge lineup of European friends that reside in the spaces of techno, trance, tribe, dub (and more) to Eora. Drawbridge and Khey Mysterio will be pushing their unique brand of low end psychedelia, crossing the landscapes of tribe, bass and deep techno to enter limbo between slow/chuggy and breakneck speed. Strap in to transcend earthly boundaries as Drawbridge debuts his live set in Eora , and Khey Mysterio graces us with a two hour dancefloor workout. We’re also very keen to announce the Eora debut of techlab.bp founder, Szoliver. A mainstay within Budapest’s underground and the cosmic captain of the techlab.bp interstellar wormhole express. Our local lineup for the night includes Future Imperfect boss Ph0neme, who’ll be slinging a rare trance set, and MANA, originally from Nantes but now local (even if only temporarily), a specialist in warm, proggy (yet mental) sounds. With our clurb affair a few nights away, we’re gearing up to dance with y’all. Liquid8, the joint alias of Cataphonic’s cofounders @saliv88ing and @jjuudescott , are looking forward to heating up the floor ahead of @discostouf . With a focus on various styles of techno, they’ll be taking it slow; expect deep, squelchy, maybe bouncy, maybe silly, who knows.
