The best beauty looks are the ones where you still recognize yourself after the makeup is done.
For portfolio shoots, I always lean into clean, skin focused beauty because agencies, photographers, and clients still want to see you. The goal is fresh, healthy skin that photographs beautifully while still letting the model’s natural features shine through.
A few products I’ve been loving lately for this kind of soft clean beauty:
• The d’Alba serum spray : it brings hydration and glow back into the skin instantly and makes makeup feel alive instead of flat. @dalba_global
• Cream blushes have been my obsession lately, especially the Morphe cream blushes and Patrick Ta blushes for that fresh flushed look that reads so beautifully on camera. @morphebrushes@patrickta
• And a good skin tint is everything. The Danessa Myricks Beauty skin tint honestly gives some of the prettiest skinlike finish I’ve worked with, lightweight, radiant, but still enough coverage to perfect the skin without looking heavy. @danessa_myricks
This style of makeup works so well for photoshoots because it enhances the model instead of overpowering them, especially when building a portfolio that still feels elevated and current.

Have you ever felt like your nude lip is washing you out? Or it feels too nude or too pale? You need a good lip liner to fix it, and if there’s one lip liner that had so many of us girlies on a choke hold last year, it was @nyxcosmetics Cold brew lip liner! (I’m still in a choke hold)
For me I find I need to warm up my nudes sometimes and I love using a rich brown and this one in particular has made my nudest of nudes look fabulous on the lips.
Also I love that these lip liners are still pencil liners, yes I do prefer a good pencil liner over my retractable ones.
