Over the weekend, I had the privilege of learning about wet plate photography. This process was started in 1851, and involves sitting still for a few seconds. In an age of digital photography that can capture a photo in 1/500 of a second, it was relaxing to slow down.

I had the distinct pleasure of make 17 dresses for @red_chair_productions Nutcracker Ballet. I got to figure out how to make them adjustable and still Victorian styled. The dancers are going to look wonderful on stage, and perform beautifully.
