This song is the most personal to me (although not my favorite of the album). I recorded the rain you hear in front of my house on a particularly hard day. I wrote the majority of this song right after, almost all in one go actually. Stayed up til 5am just making it, I had no goal, just feeling.
I went through a lot this year, but the most difficult out if everythint was the idea of losing people. Because of that fear, I rekindled relationships that were lost, while other relationships ended. I heard the words “moving on” and I froze. So I wrote this; the song that helped me push through. 🌃

I released an Album! In September I started writing an album with two goals. That first goal was an exercise of music, to make an album where every song is a different genre. This is my first song I started being of Spanish Latin, Bossa Nova inspiration. Its changed drastically into probably my favorite song of the album.

There’s no qwip or bit, College has just been crazy…
I continue to say I “gained consciousness” when entering college just from the amount I’ve learned about myself, people, my career, and the world. Its been so tough and so rewarding. I’ve gained so many friends and had to go through some to figure out those impossible things in life. I thank everyone that’s shared a humorous moment with me or cheered my sporadic adventures on. I’m ecstatic to see where life takes me and who I can pester for midnight roadtrips while doing such. Thank you to everyone who has taught me something and helping me grow as a Sound Mixer, Roommate, Brother, Partner, or just as Jake. Thanks all, much love. 💙
