ChosenCon 2026 ✝️
This weekend has been one of the most exhausting but spiritually fulfilling experiences I’ve ever had. Seeing so many people come together for this show has been so inspiring, and made my heart so happy. Having my job be to help steward that in any small way I can was an incredible honor. It was great to have a small Intern reunion, and it was awesome to meet so many amazing people through Red Letter.
Getting to be on this set and with these people was the blessing of all blessings.
Thank you to the entire cast and crew of The Chosen for fostering the perfect environment of growth and fun!

This “movie-making” thing is kinda fun. I might stick with it for a while 😉
On a real note, absolutely none of this would have been possible without the incredibly talented and dedicated cast and crew on these projects. Shoebox (Best Producer) was a love letter to musical motifs and the role it’s played in my creative process, and getting to make this cone to life was a dream come true.
The cast and crew of Thumbs Up (Best Picture, Best Director, Best Cinematography) helped make the most hospitable, encouraging, and dynamic set environment I’ve ever been on. Our fearless leader, Caleb Shields, created a masterpiece of horror/thriller, and I was beyond proud to be even a small part of that.
But I never would’ve been able to move an inch along this journey without the unending dedication of my two co-producers for Shoebox, Jonah Norcross and Shelby Byrd. When I brought this project to them I knew that I was sharing this with good hands. Through every struggle, they helped show me patience and how to solve a problem as a team. These two really are one of a kind.
And again, to Brooke, Alex, Jett, Eller, Kennemer, Preston, Josh, Li, Caleb, Zach, Daniel, Ryan, Izzy, Khaki, Olivia, the extras, the Swenson House, and Wesley Court— THANK YOU for making Shoebox a reality.
God has put a lot on my heart lately. It’s hard being a senior in college, and balancing everything that that entails. I’m just starting my last semester, and there has already been some serious highs and lows. But hanging in my friends’ house was a truly great reminder this week: “I trust the next chapter because I know the Author.” I fall into chaos and worry when thinking about my next steps, but I have to always remind myself that God has a plan in place, and I don’t need to try and plan every step.
Another reminder has been Romans 12:2, which has come up a LOT in my daily life the past couple of weeks. “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” It’s a verse that I usually read without actually taking in what it’s saying. I put distractions everywhere in my daily life, that I truly only have myself to blame for, but removing some of these distractions, or changing my perspective, has helped me see what is truly important: living through Christ and His example.
So this post is to thank God for the patterns that He HAS put in this world that have helped lead me back to Him. I thank God for the people that show me what it looks like to love others selflessly, and I thank my closest friends for always upholding this example.
I thank Him for my passion of storytelling, and I pray for the courage to help tell stories that need to be told.
