I have been documenting the exhibitions of Sven and Clara Sauer for several years now. Lost Art Festival, The Dark Rooms, Himmel unter Berlin and all the abandoned places they turn into something completely their own. Every project feels different, but the atmosphere is always intense and beautifully unpredictable. This time I photographed DUNST by Marie Zechiel and Elodie Carstensen at Lost Art Festival. Twelve dancers, smoke, light and a space that kept shifting around them. As a photographer you try to follow the moment, but here it felt as if the moment was following you. Thank you to everyone involved for the trust and the energy. Always inspiring to work with Sven, Clara, Schachzudritt and always a pleasure teaming up with Frank.
