My 4th nationals with @flccycling and somehow they just keep getting better and better. Proud of what I accomplished and all I’ve learned this collegiate season. So thankful for all my teammates and coaches who work their asses off to keep us ready when race day comes around, just wanted to give back to this team and so glad I could. The pendulum swings.

Short and sweet collegiate season with @flccycling 💙💛been having a pretty epic time coming back to the races, nothing better than camping with all your homies and riding bikes all weekend. Stoked to be back doing what I love, nationals up next!
Had myself a whole lotta stellar moments this summer. Honestly it’s been pretty sick to take a step away from racing for a summer and ride my bike for me. Lotta DH laps and jump lines, can’t complain. I’ve also been making slow progress to get healthy again. Turns out I have a dysfunctional lower esophageal sphincter and on top of that a hiatal hernia, causing Laryngopharyngeal (silent) acid reflux, irritating my throat and sinus without any heartburn or regurgitation. Treatment has been really tricky, the hiatal hernia makes it super hard for my sphincter to heal and I’ve spent the past two months being disciplined with my diet and a lot of bodywork to physically move my stomach back into its correct position. Still have reflux daily but I’m finally seeing some real improvement, only took a year😂
For real though, I’ll be open and vulnerable on instagram, the past year has challenged me in ways I could’ve never imagined! A part of life and a part of racing no doubt, but damn it was hard to be sick everyday and miss out on my last year as a U23. At this point, wouldn’t trade it for the world, learned so much and became a stronger person because of it. Got a great group of supportive people in my life and they kept me going. That’s all, thanks for reading🤝
