Palestine / October 25 / Part 1 The slides above are of a recent trip in Oct 25 to Palestine. During our stay, we were generously hosted by several different families through the Masafar Yatta area. Our time on the ground was organised by a Palestinian led initiative that stands in support of Palestinian resistance and its struggle against occupation under zionism. International activists wishing to engage in non-violent protective presence have the opportunity to do so in an environment of community led solidarity. For more information on how to convert privilege into solidarity OTG in the hamlets of Masafer Yatta & Suisya / Occupied Palestine, please get in touch. Tides Rise, Empires Fall. Words by @ronron123 : Elbit Systems is Israel's #1 arms manufacturer - producing everything from killer drones and autonomous murder machines which are heavily used for the extermination of the people of Gaza, to white phosphorus and cluster munitions which are illegal to be used in any civilian surrounding. Every weapon being used in Gaza has some Elbit component in it! But Elbit does much more than that. They don't only work in tandem with the Israel Genocide Forces, Elbit personnel are currently in Gaza with the IGF - testing and perfecting their latest and greatest, which are literally tested and perfected on the bodies of the Palestinians - the elderly, babies, the men and women. No one is spared by Elbit Systems of Genocide. According to Israeli military chiefs and even according to Elbit's own admission, its role is absolutely crucial for the execution of this ongoing genocide. Its employees have been working around the clock in order to supply the insatiable need of bombs and artillery for the IGF, without which Israel would not be able to carry out the genocide of Gaza. I take pride in smashing up, along with other actionists, the Elbit Systems HQ in Bristol. I regret that despite our best efforts, we were not able to avert the monstrosity, which Elbit has been a key member of over the past 18 months. But this does not mean that we cannot change things - Palestine Action has shown us the way and demonstrated how within 4 years of activity - 3 of the 10 Elbit sites that used to operate in the UK have been permanently shut down! A small group of determined individuals, along with a growing number of supporters, are able to face head on the merchants of death with their practically unlimited budgets and heavy influence of the UK’s legal and political system. “Is your spirit already so crushed by abuse that you forget it is your right - or rather, your moral duty - to eliminate this system? Sabotage in armament plants and war industries... Obstruction of the smooth functioning of the war machine" The White Rose, leaflet 3 Shut Elbit Down. Free Palestine. At long last, and after a lot of hard work and fussing, we are proud to announce the OFFICIAL LAUNCH of our NEW summer olive green Return Shirt & companion zine, NERVES CALM BUT HEARTS ABLAZE! These come together at a fixed price of £35 (+ shipping), shirts limited!! Funds will be distributed according to a 90/10 split, with the majority going to our Bi-Weekly Highlights & organisations supporting Palestinians, and the latter 10% going to an internal PAA fund to help members out with printing costs, event hosting fees, and strike support. Any unused funds in a quarter may be re-donated back to the main fundraising stream by member vote. PAA HAS NO PAID STAFF, and we will continue to post all of our receipts publicly in our transparency reports for anyone to review! Next report is almost ready, keep your eyes peeled!! We owe @carryonscreening for helping us by drawing & providing us with this design. We couldn’t be happier! As you can see, the themes of this shirt emphasise the Palestinian Right of Return, including symbolism like the famous Palestinian key, the Arabic words ‘Liberation, Return, Victory’, and Naji al-Ali’s Handhala on the right sleeve. But we didn’t want to stop there. We firmly believe that the pseudo-consumer act of solidarity fundraising, while necessary, is only the beginning. EVERY purchase of a Return Shirt comes with a 26-page zine jam-packed with the history of the Right of Return and an extended excerpt of Salman Abu-Sitta’s RETURN PLAN 2023, which you should use to start conversations, build group power, and concretely shift your world towards Palestine solidarity–in your workplace, at your schools, in your faith institutions. We must all collectively move our people towards not only liberatory ‘ideas’, but towards liberatory ACTIONS. In short: tired of haters in your community chatting shit about how full decolonisation in Palestine is impossible? Arm yourself with knowledge and GET BACK OUT THERE! As indicated above, shirts are, as always, printed in a limited run. While we certainly plan on printing more, we aren’t sure when that will be–so if you are keen, please DM us to reserve your shirt ASAP!!

We want to wish everyone in our network, our followers, and our beloved comrades, a resounding EID MUBARAK as this Ramadan comes to a close! It has been a harrowing month for our friends & family across the world. As the genocidal Zionist Entity continues to accelerate its colonial violence not only upon Palestinians but upon the Lebanese, Iranian, and other communities, we must increase our solidarity in turn.  As we always say: only political action and resistance will end the genocide and ultimately decolonise Palestine. But the call from our Palestinian partners has been unwaveringly clear: this does not mean that we can afford to stop raising money for mutual aid. If anything, it is precisely in these darkest of times that we must continue to raise the bar and fundraise MORE THAN EVER for Palestinian families and organisations. We will continue to come up with new initiatives to keep diversifying our mutual aid efforts in this regard.  In that sense, we are so grateful to our community for coming together behind our new long-sleeve Tee, courtesy of @carryonscreening . As we explained in our first post, we experimented with a 70/30 split with this run in order to both support our Bi-Weekly Highlights and help to fund PAA projects around the world, and we are happy to report that we've already managed to raise nearly £1000 for Palestinian families and over £300 for our internal PAA fund! We still have around 10 shirts left of various sizes from this limited run, so if you are still interested in getting a shirt drop us a message! Given the interest in this line we may end up doing it again sometime. Otherwise, keep an eye out for our next transparency report soon, and don't forget, FREE PALESTINE FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA!!!!!

Just 2 weeks ago we decided to try a new experiment thanks to our friends at @carryonscreening -- a brand new long-sleeve Tee which we would sell online to support both our Bi-Weekly Highlight families as well as an internal fund for PAA members around the world to help print zines, shirts, and put on shows--and maybe even work towards a strike fund down the line! You all showed up MASSIVELY, with people from all over the world coming forward and helping make this project a success. As the slide art indicates, we've already donated over £400 from these proceeds to 2 families, and are starting to see our PAA support fund grow. It means the world to us. Once again, we remind our followers that we have NO PAID STAFF, and you can continue to expect that we will report how every £$€ is used! That being said, we are beginning to run low on some sizes, so if you're interested, please let us know! We can't hold shirts forever, so you'll only be able to reserve a shirt with a tip on our Ko-Fi (see link in bio). Meanwhile, keep an eye out for our upcoming Global Transparency Report after Eid to show how much we've managed to fundraise network-wide. FREE PALESTINE!!!!!!!
