New organic coffee 🌱 Lima is smooth and sweet, with notes of praline, brown sugar & poached pear. • Its quality reflects the skill and dedication of Rony Lavan, president of the Lima Coffee co-op, who has spent his career championing small producers and pushing for better, more expressive coffees across Peru. • The beans in this lot were grown by smallholder farmers in Cajamarca, a semi-dry, semi-cold, tropical region in the Andean mountains with very fertile soil. Launching today - one very special coffee from Finca Zarza 🚀 • This competition coffee’s distinctive character is no accident. It is the result of exceptional growing conditions at Zarza Farm, the outstanding genetics of the Pacamara trees, and the Gasca family’s long history of coffee cultivation combined with their embrace of advanced processing techniques developed in this region of Colombia. • This lot was sourced from our friends @cataexport , and used by Alexander Lehane in the 2026 Irish Brewers Cup. Coffee from the same farm was used by Jack Simpson to win the 2025 World Barista Championship. • For this lot, the coffee cherries were rested for 48 hours, then placed in sealed containers for extended anaerobic fermentation before being stabilised in temperature-controlled water baths, followed by sun-drying and final milling. • The result is a beautifully sweet, fruit-forward coffee with layered notes of juicy berries and cherry, unfolding into a wave of dark chocolate and finishing with exceptional length. #exceptional

Reflecting on my proformance last weekend at the Irish Brewers Cup 2026 . Placed 7th place just missed out on finals. Brewers there is always lessons to be learned. No matter how hard they are . Growth comes from pushing yourself out of comfort zone . It pushes you to learn more . It was not the result I was hoping for . I didn't play the game good enough. The cups were designed to resemble the landscapes of Huila Colombia and also to highlight the flavour descriptors of the coffee and also the weight of the cup add positively to the experience. More new coffee! ⭐ Star Burst is fruity and bright, with notes of melon, star fruit & green tea. • Processed at Rwamatamu’s Mbare Washing Station in Rwanda, the cherries are carefully spread on raised beds and hand-sorted on arrival. Over 26–33 days of drying, the cherries are regularly turned and meticulously sorted, allowing sugars and fruit character to slowly infuse the beans. • Once fully dried, the coffee is transported to milling facilities in Kigali, where it is dehusked, polished, and graded before export, resulting in a bright, juicy cup that bursts with fruit-forward notes, like tearing open a bag of your favourite sweets 🍭 . . . . . . . #coffee #carrowcoffee #starburst #rwanda #journeywithus #sweet #cafe #barista #coffeelover
