@larsonrides Rail Jam this last weekend at @hilltop907 was a great way to close out the season up here. So awesome to see the ski and snowboard community come out and support each other for the day.

Over the winter I’ve had some opportunities to get out of my comfort zone a little and shoot more portraiture work. This is the first film work I’ve done on a more “professional” side. Seems fitting to include it in a tattoo studio.
Sarah (@glacier_lines_tattoo ) has been making her mark all over Alaska for a while now, but her work is now being featured all over the world on moving canvases. She’s been crushing it as a tattoo artist and I’ve been lucky enough to be invited multiple times now to document her process. Here’s some film shots of her marking @akceil with an awesome thigh band.

A month ago, Kayce suggested a plan: I’d do her first tattoo and we’d document with photographs for the bio photograph on the back of the @mountainmenofalaska calendar, which Kayce and I have worked on together—her taking all the photographs, me doing the design—for the past 11 years.
We roped in Elliot, which was awesome. @carrelliot is as fun to take photos with as he is to backcountry ski with, and I’m grateful he got our good sides—not easy (as you can see) with how much Kayce and I were goofing off and the fact that she was getting a big old first tattoo.

No I just demolished a wall, repaired some drywall, painted, redid flooring, framed in a boiler, and decorated to make sick penthouse loft out of a green and pink attic.
