Welcome to the Absa Cape Epic family, @pumpforpeace .
We’re proud to announce Pump for Peace as one of our official development partners for 2026, and excited to stand alongside a team doing powerful work within our sport and the communities it touches.
Here’s to driving meaningful change, together, in 2026. 🤝

Can’t wait to share Unathi’s story - a story of resilience and grit. His decision to pursue something he loved despite his circumstances not only changed his life, but has changed and is changing the lives of so many people looking up to him. Releasing on Youth Day!
I was given the opportunity to go on the most incredible, life-changing trip to Hanmersdale and Lesotho with @pumpforpeace earlier this year. We filmed the story of where two riders, who were about the race the Cape Epic, grew up.
Their resilience is something that is changing their communities in ways I can’t even comprehend fully. Oh man, it filled me with hope!
Reminiscing! ✨ Did some shooting in Langa yesterday and remembered this moment when the bus turned off the highway and people came running after it for kilometres on end.
What do we do after these moments of unity? How do we hold onto that feeling even when times feel dark again?
We get behind foundations like @kolisi_foundation - who carry this hope all year round.
“Winning a sports game gives people happiness for an amount of time. What you do with that win… when you start using your sport to touch other people’s lives - that’s what gives people hope.” - @siyakolisi 🇿🇦
It’s such a privilege to have witnessed this through @kolisi_foundation - check out their page for ways to support.
