Painting at times came be very frustrating. You think it looks great and then you take a picture of it or move it to a different light and it’s horrible. Usually when I’m painting life like skin tones I’ll take a photo with my hand next to it just to see how it reads in comparison to something that’s actually real. I like this one because it almost looks like my hand since their skin tone was so similar to mine. This was a really fun project to be a part of. The majority of what I got to do was the wig for Peaches. I also got to do her manicure on the fake hands we made, and I ran and prepainted the transfers we made for the stitches where she was being sewn together. I never know if I’m going to get a screen credit or what I’ll be credited as. On most projects I’m able to work in several departments so sometimes it’s just what I spent the most time on that ends up being what I’m credited for. I particularly like this credit “Gore Fabrication” that might be a first for me. This project was so much fun to work on. With a tiny crew, everyone involved is an absolute beast and worked so many different jobs to get this done @vinnybalbo just killed it with this character.
