The moving boxes are piling up, the first high racks are (almost) standing straight, and of course the first posters are already on the wall. In short: things are getting serious — and a little cozy. CARLA CARGO Engineering GmbH is moving to Nehren at the turn of the year, teaming up with Radkutsche to create what might become Southern Germany’s largest cargo-bike shared workspace. Together, we’re building a local competence hub for climate-friendly cargo transport with bikes & trailers — concentrated know-how, short distances and plenty of forward-thinking energy included. Both companies will remain independent, but we’re moving closer together, sharing knowledge, ideas… and probably the coffee machine. From mid-January, the first CARLAs will roll off the line at the new location. We’re beyond excited for this next chapter. Day 2 SPEZI - LETS GO!! 🌟🌟

🚲💛 Manche Projekte bleiben einfach hängen… Nathan war bei uns mit seinem außergewöhnlichen Fahrradzug – und wir übertreiben nicht, wenn wir sagen: Das ist der längste, den wir je bei uns im Hof stehen hatten 😄 Und trotzdem: Wenden? Kein Problem. Lief erstaunlich entspannt 😉 Was dieses Projekt aber besonders macht, ist die Zusammenarbeit dahinter: Über einen gemeinsamen Bekannten sind wir zusammengekommen und daraus ist genau das entstanden, was man sich wünscht, wenn verschiedene Leute an einem Strang ziehen. @carlacargoengineering hat die passenden Anhänger gestellt und damit die Basis für den Zug geschaffen. Brody Bike Service hat mitgeholfen, alles wieder fit zu machen, damit der Zug jetzt wieder zuverlässig auf die Straße kann. 🔧💪 Und Nathan bringt das Ganze mit seinem Projekt @newheartfestival überhaupt erst zum Leben. Mit dem New Heart Project e.V. schafft er Räume, in denen Menschen zusammenkommen – bei Chai in the Park, Soup in the Park oder dem New Heart Festival. Einfach, offen und mit richtig viel Herz 💛 Und das Beste: Das hier war noch nicht mal der ganze Zug 😄 Den kompletten Aufbau könnt ihr beim New Heart Festival mit Silent Disco erleben. Absolut sehenswert! Aktuell ist Nathan jeden Donnerstag von 15-17 Uhr mit ☕ Chai in the Park im Stühlinger Park Kommt vorbei, schaut’s euch an und unterstützt solche Projekte 🙌
